I was looking for some Naruto art on Dev Art sites by browsing
some pages. Until i saw 's dev site... her art was so
nice and the coloring is done in OC!. (And i'm currently learning
the software now ).
I read Devart journals and hers caught my attention, it was a
contest for some art that depicts her tons of character designs
(but fortunately she gave some ideas) and out of those 5 i
chose Tei Tei. (Maybe i was enticed by the Pouty
Tei Tei art... )
SO well i did the line art 2 days before the deadline and the
background which was just done earlier. I could've done a
background of my own, but sadly i haven't got much time so
i just edited a picture i got from the net. . Photoshop
saved my oh so bum with it's simple brushes and some cuts.
I just wish i make it to the deadline.
The idea of Tei Tei being some sort of "soldier" came up after
looking at Coey's gallery... Coey seems to like to draw
her males on well "revealing" attires (well i'm out of terms... )
So i covered him out with armor (which kinda looks like an ANBU
uniform... Damn NARUTO influence! )
And the irony is... i don't know Coey THAT good and i was looking
for Naruto art at the first place which in the end i wasn't able to
find any at all.
Good work. However, the folds of his pants at the crotch area seems a little too uniform, and his right leg seems longer than his left, even with foreshortening.
This is nice, but the character and the BG don't seem to jive... He would have worked well with it if his colors were reddish all around to match the BG's red light.
Tho mehbeh it coulda worked more on the memories theme if he were in a kind of monochrome color scheme? X3 Just meh tho
Still, not too bad.
Thanks for the advice...
