Before starting this thing.. i remembered a famous line..
"If anything can go wrong, it will"
Which greatly describes how this piece ended up to be.
Yesterday Evening i decided to finally Scan and CG a line art i did for
's project for like 2 months ago.
Thinking that my scanner is working fine.. i slapped the Line art on the scanner and went to proceed.
Then LO and BEHOLD!.
The scanner can't be found by my PC. The reason?.. a week ago i just REFORMATTED my PC and maybe maybe messed up the Scanner and it cannot be distinguished by my system.
YAY! I just realized... I'M SCREWED
The whole evening was spent trying to make the damn thing work... but to no avail nothing made the system accept the damn scanner (If i remember, the PC is popping something saying out that the scanner has no Device Warranty and sht... whatever). I woke up the next day after waiting for it to install and still didn't work.
My mind went to a panic... i'm stupid for being lazy and not finding out earlier...
Then we go to the remedy... i remembered that together with the awesome amount of my files backed up for the reformat is OPEN CANVAS (My savior! *kisses* ). With an immediate idea also backed up somewhere in my mind i started to draw something in Open Canvas with my trusty optical mouse.
The Line art was done after an hour and a half. Next problem.. the CG.
I let some hours of reality kick in for my mind to calm down.. (eat.. do some house work.. surf the net) Then in the afternoon I'm back to work!. The Base Colors (and some CG-d parts) are done in 3 hours (with matching intervals of doing other stuff in the PC.. like playing some games and stuff... i can never be straight forward sometimes..).
Another break to reality (nap.. watching TV... Supper...) and i'm back to work for the second time. Though now, i'm more compelled to do this thing and "finish" it. So after some hours of gazing to the PC monitor and getting some bits of radiation.. i finally finished. And this is how it came out...
As much as i want to ask for an extension to
i think that would really look absurd, because it's my fault anyway on why the sudden rush happenned. And it's also unfair to the other participants... and as much as possible i don't want to be unfair in some certain project.
This may have a hands-on version (Line Art in paper..).... Oh well... Gotta get my well deserved price.... Some Net Surfing... yeeha...
(NOTE: I wish it would be fine to
for me including Zabuza in the picture... ehehehe..
Rundown: (if you don't wanna read the stuff above)
Open Canvas (3 hours)
Adobe Photoshop 7 (6 hours w/intervals) (yay! it's finally working in my PC without giving me blue screens)
