First Deviation for 2007~ Oink~

Anyway, The idea for this pic is something that just hit me out of nowhere while my mind was wandering elsewhere.

This character is one of my original/coincidental creations, Effie (for those who don't know her yet, long story short: she was a character that i made some time ago, i showed it to

who unknown to me has an extremely similar looking Male character (Egoraptor) and he accepted the idea that she be the female counterpart.).

So what happened mostly after that is that i always go and consult any design changes and as much as i can and try to incorporate it to Effie. However, most of Egoraptor's revamps are on the colors; not that i'm complaining. (his color palettes are always neat, something which i can't do)

Amongst my brainstorming was the brand United Colors of Benetton who i remembered had some sort of logo that featured 4 prominent colors and stuff back in the days.

To give you background info about the colors on the piece:

(1st column) - (Top) Conceptualized around 2002. This Effie is sporting the color that i intended for her initial design, never saw light after encountering Egoraptor's colors though

- (Bottom) Adapted at 2003. This is the color that Egoraptor had around the time.

(2nd column) - (Top) 2004-2005. 2nd Effie-Egoraptor color. Just adapted from the latter as usual.
- (Bottom) 2005-2006. Again, adapted from Egoraptor and is the 3rd revision of colors. This color makes me hungry when i look at it due to the combination of purple and white (colors of a cake that i totally enjoyed somewhere in the past)

So yeah, i think this is some sort of a mix of wacky idea and parody. (I dunno about the "parody" part)
